Long before our era there were amusements with dice with numbered faces. Thus, Homer mentions them in the “Iliad”. The story of the epic takes place in the 12th century BC.

In the first century AD, gambling became widespread in the Roman Empire. Betting on money was common among people of all classes. At some point, the government was forced to pass a law allowing gambling during certain months of the year.
Dice-artifacts from ancient dice-playing dice became even more popular in Western Europe during the Middle Ages. Sik-bo, a similar three-dice discipline, began to spread first in Asian establishments and then worldwide from the 1980s. In the twenty first century, several other types of dice gambling games have appeared in online casinos.
Dice are called dice in English, dados in Spanish and dado in Italian.
In the United States, Latin America and Southern Europe, social games with classic dice are most common. Dice bets are normal. Unlike cards to dice, they are more loyal in social settings. In America and Europe, special game sets are sold that include a glass for throwing.
The aim of the participants is to throw all the ordered points on the two dice until an additional sum is added up. Craps is played alone. The settlement is made immediately after the round is completed. It has two stages.
